Sample Ad Page: #1 After Filming The Passion of Christ

This begins the media kit. All advertisement sizes measured in inches are based upon what you see on a PC monitor because it is impossible to discuss anything like this based in a smart phone. If you prefer to work in pixel sizes and then tell me how big you want the ad to appear that’s fine, but I must always refer to square inches for a size standard.

What happened on The Passion of The Christ filming set altered Mel Gibson’s career and improved uncounted lives  forever!

I am using this page only as an example page to show you how we can presently place advertising. There is a blog “post” and a “page” that has this video embedded so viewers can see the discussions about the movie production and how it affected Mel Gibson and other actors on the movie set.

All sample ads were created by ad agencies. Ask your graphics people to do it, get your final approval, and then send it to me as a gif, png, or jpeg. Local web developers can do this, and many sign-making companies have artists employed who can also take something you produce in Microsoft Word, and improve it to your final satisfaction. I’ll discuss pricing and show how you can know the price before you begin producing the ad in the following pages.

https://biblegateway.christianbook.com/  (This 6-square-inch ad is hot linked to the website, both the photo and the link above it.) On a page like this you King James study bible.jpgcan buy a bigger ad space (contact me for a price SteveNewdell2022@gmail.com) or take a smaller placement for the usual price. In all cases the picture and the web address under the picture will link to your website. Click on either one and it should take the reader there.  (stephen.newdell@heavensway2022.com is the “Professional” address, but it all forwards to SteveNewdell2022@gmail.com.)

A bit more prose continuing the sample article just for a filler example for you to see.

The Habit of Keeping a Clear Conscience

…strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men. ACTS 24:16

God’s commands to us are actually given to the life of His Son in us. Consequently, to our human nature in which God’s Son has been formed (see Galatians 4:19), His commands are difficult. But they become divinely easy once we obey.

Conscience is that ability within me that attaches itself to the highest standard I know, and then continually reminds me of what that standard demands that I do. It is the eye of the soul which looks out either toward God or toward what we regard as the highest standard. This explains why conscience is different in different people. If I am in the habit of continually holding God’s standard in front of me, my conscience will always direct me to God’s perfect law and indicate what I should do. The question is, will I obey? I have to make an effort to keep my conscience so sensitive that I can live without any offense toward anyone. I should be living in such perfect harmony with God’s Son that the spirit of my mind is being renewed through every circumstance of life, and that I may be able to quickly “prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2 ; also see Ephesians 4:23). This ad is hot linked to the Calvery Chapel website. The link beside or above it is another way to help the reader reach your website.

You will in most cases, share the page with other ads. The ad links to your website and your web address will also be placed under the ad.

As you see above, the ad is approximately 4″ x 3.25″. On the next page you’ll see how to quickly calculate the price for this ad. I am open to negotiate for a special rate or to help a small Church or business get started. Send me a note. Make a fair offer…. I’m open  to hear and work with your particular requests and I can invoice you through PayPal whatever we agree upon.

I recommend bright strong colors, with Black or dark red or dark blue on a white background. The best is white background with black lettering. Work with your graphic artist to use  any colors you like. Just make certain the ad clearly readable to “older people’s eyes.”

Young graphic designers do not know that for some older people “automatic”(blue/gray) color type and thin lines around boxes actually disappears! Teach them and help yourself. Be Sure people past age 65 can read your ad and it’s a certainly younger ones will be able to read it too.

This website is due for a major upgrade in appearance and my control over space between lines, between paragraphs and around ads. If you have an artist’s eye you’ll be amazed at the improvements!

Now let’s go to page #2 to see more about page design and pricing.>>>
